Windows XP - Installing IIS : adsutil.vbs admxprox.dll missing

DOMAIN: Windows XP and IIS

PROBLEM: when installing IIS on XP you get an error
adsutil.vbs missing and/or admxprox.dll missing

SOLUTION:

This worked for me:

%WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe -i

download and unpack SP2 (Yes I know) adsutil.vbs can be found in the extracted SP2 - SP2\i386\ip

admxprox.dll can be found on a Windows XP + SP1 or higher CD \i386\ folder.

WORD OF EXPLANATION:
Theoretically IIS should have been installed before .NET Framework 2.0.
Also, the files needed to install IIS no longer seem to be part of SP3.
